On the occasion of the inauguration of the classical music concert season of Hispania Conciertos, one of the most prestigious orchestras in the world, the London Philharmonic Orchestra, returns to the stages of Spain, this time, under the baton of conductor Alexander Zemtsov and accompanied of the virtuoso violin Maestro Mario Hossen.
Together they will present, for the first time in Spain, Paganini’s Violin Concerto No. 1 in its original orchestration in E-flat major, just as Paganini himself had conceived it. This requires a special tuning of the violin, known as scordatura, and exceptional virtuosity on the part of the soloist. Hossen’s violin will emerge clearly and brilliantly over an outstanding orchestral accompaniment.
The London Philharmonic Orchestra combines its long history with a distinguished reputation as one of the most significant ensembles in the UK. In addition to its national performances, the Orchestra also tours internationally and performs to sold-out audiences around the world. The Orchestra broadcasts regularly on television and radio, and has recorded soundtracks for numerous films, one of its latest and most remembered being the Lord of the Rings saga.
